Prior to starting Clear Point Advisors Inc. in 1998,  Mr. Brill served as Associate Director and then Director of Portfolio Advisory Services at the Chase Private Bank. Earlier during his tenure at Chase (Chemical Private Bank,) Mr. Brill served as a Senior Consultant in the Personal Financial Planning group and designed comprehensive financial plans for corporate executives and business owners.

Mr. Brill has extensive experience in the investment and financial services field, first working as a tax and legal adviser in the corporate offices of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.  He then served as acting director of the personal financial planning department at Dean Witter Reynolds before joining Chemical Private Bank as a financial and investment adviser in 1987.

Mr. Brill received a B.A. degree with honors from Boston University. He is admitted to practice as an attorney with the New York State Bar and holds a Masters in Law degree (LL.M) in Taxation from New York University. Mr. Brill has also received the Chartered Financial Consultant designation.  His professional biography has been listed in Who’s Who in Finance, Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who in American Law.

Mr. Brill served as a Board member and Chairman of the not-for-profit agency, Community Housing Innovations, Inc. from 1993 to 2019.  CHI helps provide affordable housing to low and moderate-income families and individuals and employs more than 300 people in New York.

In 2021, Steven was ranked #4 Nationally in his Men’s Senior division by the U.S. Tennis Association.

Prior to joining Clear Point Advisors, Barry Dampf was a principal at the Registered Investment Advisor firm of Spielberger Dampf Brill & Levine LLC.

Earlier, Mr. Dampf served as a Vice President and Senior Advisor with Chase Private Bank’s Private Advisory Services (PAS) for 7 years. Mr. Dampf’s earlier career in Finance, Investments and Accounting was with a Big Six accounting firm where he specialized in Financial Services Companies. Mr. Dampf began his investment career in 1983 with Smith Barney Shearson as an Account Executive and Investment Specialist. Mr. Dampf graduated with a B.S. in Finance and Economics from the State University of New York at Albany and holds an M.B.A. in Accounting.

Barry earned the CPA designation in 1985 and is a current member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. (Barry is not currently practicing as a CPA.)

In 2013, Barry was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Guggenheim Investment Management firm’s Registered Investment Advisor Advisory Board. The Board is responsible for assisting Guggenheim in developing strategies and products that meet the needs of the RIA marketplace.

Barry lives on Long Island. He is married and has two children in college.   He is an avid golfer, having achieved a single-digit handicap.  Barry also played competitive junior ice hockey.

Prior to joining Clear Point Advisors, Robert Levine was a principal at the Registered Investment Advisor firm of Spielberger Dampf Brill & Levine LLC. Earlier, Mr. Levine was a Senior Financial Analyst at The Long Island Savings Bancorp and a Finance Manager at the Jerry and Ketchum advertising agency. Formerly, Mr. Levine was the Operations Investment Manager of Chemical Private Bank’s Private Advisory Services Group (PAS.) Mr. Levine’s previous experience in Finance and Accounting was with Chemical Bank’s Internal Financial Audit Division.

Mr. Levine graduated with a B.B.A. in Banking and Finance and has completed coursework towards his M.B.A. in Finance at Hofstra University. In addition, Robert has completed the Boston University program for Financial Planners.
